Dining Room

First time poster, long time lurker. We moved into our house about two years ago and it was stuck in the sixties. Carpets needed ripping up, wallpaper to hide and basically a complete overhaul which we're still getting through. Below are after pictures of the dining room. It's the room I'm happiest with so far.

Ohhh! I *love* the green with the black and white design. It's airy and fabulous! Aww.

I have a 30s black and white tile bathroom, and I've been thinking about a similar wall color--great to see the concept in action.

Lovely and airy! What era is your house from - the doors are so unusual.

i'd guess late victorian? the doors are an odd thing because the ones downstairs had their panels covered over with board (apparently fashionable in the 60s/70s) and i believe they have moved the handles as the ones in the other rooms have the original door knobs in the centre.

Your room is beautiful. I'm not generally a fan of pale greens, but with the light wood furniture and the feature wall it looks great. I really like the wallpaper on the feature wall.

Very saucy indeed :) I'm a big fan of the green walls with the flower paper!
