i don't have photos of what i did last year, but the "holiday homes" community has lots of holiday decorations posted from last year if you go back in the calendar. you might find something there.

Because my place is so small, I am specifically looking for ways to set it up so furniture and stuff is not all pushed along the walls.

do what we did and buy a Malm from Ikea and don't use a box spring, you just stuff the edges of the comforter into the bed, sooo easy.
