ha! how funny!!

how big is yours? mine is only like a foot tall, but her auction says they're "large" - maybe they came in different sizes?

Oh baby, you can NEVER have too many photos!

I love the character in your house and all the owls and the baby tent playhouse!

that's one of my favorite things about this house. it's the perfect place to drink tea in the morning and eat dessert at night.

thanks! it came with the yellow, but we changed everything else. the blue in the living room makes me so happy.

Ack! Rounded doorways! I LOVE THOSE!
I also love your bathroom- the tile and the half-black wall under the chair rail is wonderful.
Did you build the little table and mini-benches yourself? It looks like a cool space-saving idea(I've been looking at condos and realizing that I will probably not find one in my price range that has an eat-in kitchen with space for my hand-me-down kitchen table, so I'm on a small-table obsession kick lately.)
I do have one question, though- have you considered doing something different with the Christmas lights? Angled across the corner of the room like that, they strike me as very impermanent and very obtrusive- they can look cute in the right setting, and the rest of your place is so adorable I want them to match it.

the built-in-table was built when the house was built, in 1904. it's right outside our kitchen door. i love it.

the christmas lights were randomly put up when we did a house show, but we'll probably move them at some point.
