Everywhere you go, there's fucking scum-eating animals filled with the lowest possible capability. We're all that person, the only possible place to go is off the planet.
We were born in the wrong era, possibly. I'm not as big of a nature and wilderness enthusiast as I believe you are, but I enjoy an occasional venture into the nowhere. If space travel was an everyday thing, it would be cool to spend an evening orbiting Titan, or something.
But if that travel was an everyday thing, would society build up every last planet? Assuming resources from the planets in question were those being used, since we have pretty healthy portions of Earth's resources devoted ... can you imagine gridlock on solar system superhighway 3?
