Romero's still very important, but he's not the only older creator who has experienced a slide . . . take Lucas . . . the first films are pretty amazing, in comparison to the latest effort in the Star Wars universe.

He did at one time . . . if you haven't watched Martin, that's a good one.

I can possibly snag some weird shit to round out my mainstream-watched wealth.

I watched 28 Days Later last Friday. I was impressed. I have yet to see Land, but I love Dawn.

I liked 28 Days Later . . . I think the difference between that reality and Romero's world is the biological virus vs. radiation. I'm not really sure what Romero's world is at times, to be honest . . . how the zombies came to be.

i bought it just to have it in my collection.
i watched it once, and will probably be something i put in once a year,
around Halloween time. nothing great, but decent.

I'm going to have to lock down Halloween and Halloween 2 . . . those are my two festive films for that season.

i like them both as well, though 2 is a bit weak.

The only reason I'd want it, despite the weakness, is that it's a very close continuation of the original. It's so later-that-night that despite the drop-off, I gots to collect it . . . kind of like a bonus round.

I saw this film not too long ago and thought it to be...ok.

I've also had movie searching quests along with some friends. Blockbuster NEVER has what you're looking for unless it was just released.

It's so bizarre . . . I talked with one of the clerks, and they told me that the stores have zero control over what's in the middle (the non-new section).

So, if someone ruins/never returns, it could be months before a new copy is sent. They can't request films to be stocked.
