I got accepted to Uvic! I mean, I knew that was going to happen, but still. I don't believe I mentioned in the first place that my application for the music program was rejected. I've been reading Dorothy Parker's short stories. Man, that woman was amazingly cutting and insightful. There's this incredible pathos to her work, too, that you wouldn't expect if you judged her for most of her poetry and witty sayings. Of course, it's also pretty sarcastic ( Read more... )
