I didn't watch the whole thing, but I hated the musical theatre interlude - seriously, I know Hugh Jackman was in The Boy From Oz, but... why Beyonce? And why in that red... thing? Other than that, I'm happy that Sean Penn won Best Actor, even if he didn't freaking thank his wife in his acceptance speech

I liked penelope winning support actress oscar aside that everything sucked. well i didn't watched the whole thing either but I heard sludog millionaire also won several oscars which is pretty fair to me, despite academy award re not always fair.
