Culture shock
Wow. It's going to take me a while to get used to Xenosaga III after the all-around perfection that was FFXII. In particular, I forgot how mediocre the voice acting in the vast majority of video games is. I have to skip all of Kevin's lines, and I can just barely handle Shion. ...At least Yuriev sounds good. And Marguilis. OH SWORDFIGHTS

IMHO, yeah, FFXII is way up there, but at least in terms of its *aspirations*, XenoIII can't be beat. And really, it's *all* about the little scenes. It basically comes back to the fact that XII develops each *individual* character, but all of the Xenosaga games have always been more about how *groups* of characters interact with each other...
