UPDATED RULES FOR SECRET GUIDELINES/SUBMISSIONS
Hello! Since membership at ontd_ai has opened again, nowheretogo26 and I thought it would be a good idea to explain saturdaysecrets to all the new members and take this time to reiterate the rules to everyone AND LET EVERYONE KNOW OF SOME CHANGES/CLARIFICATIONS.
saturdaysecrets is a post secret-esque community where members can confess "secrets" about the community/the fandom/the Idols anonymously. And with pictures. For some examples, check out the favorites from each week in the HALL OF FAME.
~THE RULES~
***Sometimes secrets that pass the rules don't get posted by mistake. We apologize if this happens to you, but please just re-email us your secret(s) with "resubmission" in the subject line of the email and we'll do it right the next week.
Any submissions not following guidelines will not be accepted.

1. SNARK IS COOL, WE LIKE SNARKY SECRETS. DON'T BASH THINGS, THOUGH, THERE'S A DIFFERENCE.
2. PLEASE REFRAIN FROM SUBMITTING THINGS THAT AREN'T REALLY SECRETS, I.E. A PICTURE WITH LYRICS OR SOMETHING TO THAT EFFECT
3. ADHERE TO THE SIZE LIMIT. 600 X 400 PIXEL SECRETS ONLY FROM NOW ON, OR ELSE YOURS WON'T BE POSTED.
4. SUCK MY DIQ
5. POST THE URL OF YOUR SECRET IN THE DESIGNATED SECRET SUBMISSION POST FOR THAT WEEK. DO NOT EMAIL US. YOU CAN HOWEVER EMAIL US WITH ANY QUESTIONS AT SATURDAYSECRETS@GMAIL.COM

~THE RULES~
- All secrets MUST be Fandom/Community related (no personal attacks). All others will be deleted. AS OF MARCH 2010, WE ARE ENFORCING A NEW RULE THAT REQUIRES MEMBER-CENTRIC SECRETS THAT ARE CRITICAL (AKA, NOT A LOVE SECRET) TO HAVE THE USERNAME AND ICON BLACKED OUT.
We're pretty lenient on what gets posted as long as it isn't an outright bash. You can express a negative opinion about a person/topic, but please do not name any individuals and do not try to call someone out in a secret. If you make a member-centric secret, here's an example of what is acceptable and what won't get posted:

Remember, there's a difference between snark and just being mean/hurtful.
Recently, there has been some concern over the excessive love secrets towards members or member groups. Yes, there have been a lot of these lately but they're not harming anyone and we think people should be allowed to express love if they want to. Don't like the love secrets? Scroll, bbs :) Or make a passive aggressive secret about it for the next week. Whatever makes you happy.
ALSO, WE WANT TO CLARIFY THAT SOME SECRETS THAT GET POSTED EACH WEEK AREN'T REALLY SECRETS AND WE WANT TO DISCOURAGE THOSE. Picture+lyrics? NOT a secret. Please don't submit those, they don't have any point to the community purpose. PLEASE REMEMBER: SECRETS ARE A WAY FOR YOU TO EXPRESS SOMETHING WITHOUT HAVING TO ATTACH YOUR USERNAME TO THAT OPINION. TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THAT. PLEASE DON'T SUBMIT THINGS THAT ARE JUST GOING TO MAKE PEOPLE HAVE TO SCROLL MORE TO GET TO THE REAL SECRETS. If you need any clarification about what really makes a secret/what doesn't, please don't hesitate to ask in the comments or by emailing us at saturdaysecrets@gmail.com. - Secrets cannot be larger than approximately 600x400 pixels.
SRSLY, YOU GUISE. SRSLY. We have been resizing secrets that are too big for weeks, and it's just not fair for us to do. Please follow this rule, it's not that hard. We really won't be posting them anymore if they're much larger than this. DNW 900 X 900 secrets, they stretch the page.
- Only 5 secrets allowed per person/per week. Any excess will be deleted. You may resubmit next Secret cycle.
- UPLOAD YOUR SECRET AND THEN REPLY TO THE SECRET SUBMISSION POST WITH THE URL. IF YOU DON'T KNOW HOW JUST ASK BEFORE YOU SEND. We will be glad to help! :D PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING SECRET SUBMISSIONS VIA EMAIL. YOU CAN EMAIL US WITH QUESTIONS/CONCERNS, BUT PLEASE LEAVE ALL SECRETS YOU WANT POSTED IN THE PROPER SUBMISSION POST OR WE'LL IGNORE THEM.
- Once you submit a secret it WILL be posted unless the Mods decide otherwise. PLEASE DO NOT send an e-mail requesting to have your secret removed.
A) You are ANONYMOUS...it doesn't matter what your secret says, it will never come back to you.
B) We will NOT search through the secrets looking for yours. Seriously, we don’t give a fuck what secret is yours. No one is gonna poke fun at you.
C) Once posted it is out of your hands.
