no, i totally agree. i nearly shit myself when people applauded the anthem. and the way people were just talking during the songs and stuff; it was really disrespectful. usually it wouldn't bother me, but this is an occassion when respect and maturity is a must.

I'm just glad that we had no special guests or invited war veterans to the assembly. I just felt that it was a joke to some. Not all, but some.

You should've seen Tilley's face when they applauded "O Canada" he was just like "wtf?" And I can't blame him at all for it.

I agree... and yes the sad thing is that Booth (yes... Booth) had a better assembly than ours... it was more like a teacher talent show... argh... and no veteran!

Nice point.. a teacher talent show. Yes the songs were war inspired. But no one in that auditorium thought about that. They were thinking, I liked the Guns N' Roses version better, or Let It Be, that was by that group my parents like.

We're going to Skeet High...

I think some of their ideas were good, liek the slideshows and stuff, but it should have been worked into a traditionnel rememberance day assembly.... I just want to say one thing on the subject of Booth's assembly - you don't need to get EVERYBODY to "say a few words"
