Well, Old Man Winter is finally starting to stir up here- been getting down to about 20 below.  What I find funny is that while this is too cold for me poor bike (rear axle not engaging with the chain, breaks really not happy), it is still too warm for my parka.  Gotten over me illness, and almost all caught up in my schoolwork now.  Hope this ( Read more... )

...too cold for your bike, which is made of metal, but apparently not too cold for protecting body with a parka??

Yay!

Would it be possible to obtain an inventory of your movie collection?

yeah, the back ballbearings freeze, and thus the chain doesn't engage the back tire. As for the movie collection, well, it is possible, but would take a bit of time to go through each and every one ~_^.

heh. I agree. Too cold for your bike but not your body? I suppose an argument could be made that unlike your bike, your body has warm things pumping through it to keep it from freezing, but I'm somewhat unconvinced;)

Regardless, I'm glad things are going well and that you have recovered from the plague. Now just stay healthy and you'll be set!:)

I don't know...maybe your bike is trying to tell you something. Like: "It's too friggen cold to go bike riding." ^_~ And to help clarify Liz's question: What movies do you have that involve both fantasy and the dark ages? ^_^

Life is good, bussy but good. Only downer is recent surgery on my ear, which was really very minor (removing a suspicious looking mole) but that little buggard bled a small flood and is going to take a while to heal. Other than that I'm alive and kicking. :-) Good luck trying to keep "Old Man Winter" from keeping you off your bike! :-)

Take care buddy,
Art
