i think jack and i are going to make this our tradition. if and when we have kids... we were wondering if they would feel deprived not having the conventional christmas tree.

"mommy, daddy...all my other friends' trees are green!"

as for the tree... it's very endearing to us. we think it's the sweetest tree. the branch fell off our bigger tree in the backyard some weeks ago. :)
