I didn't like that Nicky and Paulo found the plane and hatch before the other Losties.

I miss Boone. I never understood why so many people didn't like him.

yeah, I didn't like that either, but I was happy to see all those connections to the past... especially when Paulo said he couldn't get up there cause the plane would crash and he would die. How ironic.

I love Boone!

I did think it was clever (or ironic) that those two were made to have the smarts not to go up to a plane in a tree or down some hatch (until Paulo needed to hide them diamonds)

I had forgotten that the spider would attract others (as did Nicki it seems). Throughout the scene where Paulo gets bit, I was wondering how she became paralyzed.

I hadn't understood the thing about the spider attracting others... I thought there were more than one in the jar.

The only thought I have left after the episode: they are buried alive!!!!
My worst nightmare!

Besides that, I liked the episode!

yeah, that eye opening on the shovel of sand is quite nightmarish

i liked the episode as such (telling the story with flashbacks), but it wasn't necessary as a piece in the jigsaw thatis LOST and i am kinda afraid that the writers are running out of ideas :/

yeah, I apparently don't mind much as other people to see filler episodes. I mean, if the episode was great, I don't really care if not much was conversation starter

i'm more of a "what is the general plotline and how is it followed?" person ;) i'm one of those conspiracy theory freaks :P

I liked it, too. I like when for a change, they give us answers and more than just a few clues, even if the answers are just to questions asked 15 minutes before. I hated the beginning of this season, when several episodes were just one big story and nothing really seemed to happen for months.
