And now it's my turn to ask you why you won't read Harry Potter. Just curious, is there a specific reason?

no specific reason, just a stubborness of mine, plus a lack of interest

I used to not want to read them either - kinda like "why should I read them just because everybody else does?"
But then one evening I walked past my mom's bookshelf and there they were (the first 4, 5 and 6 hadn't been published yet then), and for no reason at all I grabbed the first one and didn't go to sleep till I was done. And like a week later I had read them all. My mom hadn't even read them then (she just thought she needed to buy them "cause everyone did" - she's weird like that with books :D ), but she and my sister both did after they saw me devour the books like that.
But I think if they hadn't been on that shelf there that evening, I might not have read them to this day.
