1. The textures are fantastic! lookslikerain is hard to live up to in the realm of textures, but you totally did her justice! I'm nabbing and using (and already have ideas for how to use them in my head!).

2. Gorgeous icons! The colors are to die for.

I know exactly what you mean with the second cap - it's been done so well so many times, that I was personally intimidated to make icons from it (but someone used it in a battle I did, and I think I also used it for a contest entry once!), so I also tried to take it in a different direction. I think the medium/far crop really helps set yours apart, and the coloring is gorgeous while also being different from the other well-known icons made from that cap.

I really love the restrained texture use in the third one - it's lovely. The colors really pop in the first one, but on my screen it's a bit dark to see what's actually going on with the subjects (however, that may also just be my unfamiliarity with the cap talking!).

OMG! The Anna Torv icon is so pretty. You really have an eye for composition ;)
