Oh Lex, these are amazing! I actually think that a constantly changing style gives icons variety and creativity! Sometimes if one style is used too often it can get a little usual, but you icons are also so pretty and varying
Starting from the top, my favorites are: #1, #10, #17, #20, #24, #25, #27, #37, #47, #48, #53, #54, #57, and #58. :) I want to make special note of #53 - It is gorgeous. Really, the lighting is too amazing. I'm in awe. Your crop is perfect! <3 #54 - I love the composition and and the lighting is so well done! #48 - I adore the layout and the sepia/color . Really, it's amazing.
Oh, my! :") You are so lovely to leave me such a detailed and kind comment!
That is a lot of favourites. :O I am so glad that my experiments seem to be liked by you! I always look forward to your responses and feedback! Grew to it maybe a little too much. :p I am glad you like the lighting and colouring and composition in the icons.
I am not even sure what else to say. Thank you, dear! ♥
I love the mystery that 18 exudes! It's so dark and subtle, and I really think it works beautifully with the silhouetted image!
The close crop in 24 is amaaaaaaaaazing! That piece has such a dreamy softness to it that conveys her vulnerability. It's a very emotional icon!
Loving the bright neg space of 28 and the contrast in her face. She looks all haughty like she's strutting, and the vibrance in your coloring really punches up her expression!
36 is so wistful and pained. I like how she's superimposed over his profile. It makes for a very dramatic composition!
Looooooove the Sawyer/Kate icon. Dude, the two yellow columns right against their tiny separated figures just increases the feeling of loneliness and distance between the characters. Very clever!
I am glad you like #18. I kind of like the silhouettes, so it was a no brainer I would once make an icon like that with Sherlock too. :) Glad you like it.
#24 is one of my favourites. I love close up crops, and Karen is so talented capturing such emotions in her eyes, so it is mostly thanks to the cap that I was able to crop it that way, the other things were just easy to edit.
I have a soft spot for iconing Doctor Who, especially the later seasons.
I got inspired by Jorgen's default icon, so that is where that Lost icon idea came from.
