I think it was over on the RDFever Yahoo group that someone mentioned, many moons ago, that Ronon could not be fed upon by the Wraith. I remember asking in which EP that fact was established because it had flown right above my head... can't remember who I was discussing this with, but anyway, since Joe Mallozzi answered the question (not asked by ( Read more... )

Well at least it explains why we never saw Carson running genetic tests on Ronon to find out if he has some sort of immunity gene...too bad, it would have made such a good storyline.

Really? But I recall that in 'Runner' the Wraith puts his hand to Ronon's chest and then pulls away looking midly surprised. And didnt he also say something along the lines 'They tried to feed on me, but couldnt'? Or maybe I'm just remembering wrongly...

I don't quite remember that line of dialogue from Ronon but yeah, that surprised expression on the Wraith was due to Ronon's defiance not to the fact he couldn't feed. Or so SGA's executive producer and occasional writer says. :)

Ahh... see that misconception bugged me. I thought they couldn't feed on him too... but then I realized that wasn't what happened. Great that you clarified.

And for all this moment I thought Ronon had something special, like John having the Ancient gene, Teyla having the Wraith gene etc..

I agree with Erin, it could have made a great storyline.

It could have, I agree, but at least it does explain why they never touched on that again since then.
