So, Chinatown Concert Friday night. It was actually a kind of endurance test, three hours, no breaks. Sanshin and gamelan were back to back at the begining of hour two. Eh, picked up an extra shift on Sunday, which is a good thing (even though when I ask people to cover my shifts no one wants to, I should stop being so nice if people don't return the favor).

Oh wow, I just got mentioned in a note, thanking me for helping someone learn aikido. He's about to take his test for shodan, which is really cool, and good luck to him. I miss aikido. If I hadn't stopped I could also have been taking that test around now. Just something for me to think about.

Just went out to a shooting range with my dad and brother. It was interesting and a little scary. We shot a 45, 40, and a 22, if that means anything to anyone. :-p I think my shoulders are going to be sore tomorrow.
Otherwise haven't been up to much, just playing some Spore. But tomorrow I'm going to make a Bundt.

Made cupcakes and FORGOT TO PUT IN THE BAKING SODA. *sigh* well, at least I didn't do it on national tv and lose a chance for tens of thousands of dollars like that poor woman I saw on the foodnetwork challenge a couple weeks ago.They taste ok. Will try again tomorrow.

Wow, haven't updated in awhile. Some stuff happened.
Went to Kendra's party yesterday, was pretty cool hanging out. Gamelan party the day before was much more party like then normal, with dancing even :-o. That was fun too.
Work is still work, they are cutting hours now that the holidays are over.

Got back from watching Quantum of Solace with Aaron, Matt, and Nicole. It was pretty good, but seriously, is it that hard to hold a camera still?
Was having trouble trying to get someone to cover my shift on Sunday, but Tandy called and said she would, so yay, she is awesome. And now I get to go to the Okinawa festival in San Diego.

My mom threw away all the spices I needed because "they were discolored". THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH THEM. And she tried to steal my new cake pan. Also, I don't know why we have two and a half bottles of cumin. Now I have to go to the store again.
