Fulfilling Dreams: Mourning

My little Easter gift for myself and any other Twilight fan--especially Rosalie and Emmett fans. Over night it seems, Rosalie/Emmett has become my favorite pairing in the Twilight series. Bella/Edward will always hold a part of my heart, but what is fanfiction if not a chance to see something we don't see in the fandom? **winks** And then I noticed ( Read more... )

Thank you! Rosalie has become one of my favorites. There is so much more to her that we don't ever see from Bella's POV.

So I'm the middle of writing an Emmett/Rosalie fic that deals with her rape, and I was getting very frustrated because I started thinking about how there aren't very many Emmett/Rosalie fics or Rosalie fics for that matter, and I adore her. You've done very well with this so far, and I can't wait for you to update. Great job!

Yes, I was frustrated with the lack of Emmett/Rosalie fics and Rosalie fics as well. That's what happens when the main character doesn't connect well with another character--especially one like Rosalie that doesn't really like Bella. And it's a shame too because Rosalie has all these different sides of herself that would make an interesting story. Her story makes a great story with her rape and death and then dealing with being a vampire when she really wants to be a human. And of course the love story of Emmett and Rosalie, which we haven't really seen in the books. There is so much one can do with her and it's a shame that Stephenie Meyer seems to have ignore her and Emmett.

That was amazingly beautiful, really and so true of the character. I cried like an idiot when I first read Rosalie's story. Sometimes I skip it when I re-read the book because I get so pathetically sentimental. I empathize with your fear too. Even though there is no evidence of anything wrong with me, certain irregularities with my body make me afraid sometimes, but I'm hopeful that when the time comes (and I'm properly ready), I'll be able to try with success.

Thanks for a beautifully written piece!

Thank you! I'm actually re-reading the books right now looking for any and all Rosalie and Emmett mentions as I hadn't paid that much attention to them the first time I was reading. **headdesk** As for the fears, I think mostly they're there because I've always wanted to me a mother (I was one of the kids in school who wrote down "When I grow up, I want to be: a mom" instead of a doctor or actress or something). **sighs** And Rosalie's character makes it so easy to connect to her and write her story.
