I really like this. You explain a lot that the finale left out, along with a lovely look at their pre-road trip experience, including the emotions that went with it. I hope you keep writing!

You did indeed capture the voices of the two. I can just hear House uttering that "Oh gawd..." the way he does. (And of course Wilson would clean a fridge and do paperwork before starting the journey.) :) Do keep writing!
