I don't know whatever happened to The Sleeping Refuge, but it's owner was always a joy to deal with. Since she never archived the stories, or answered my email asking about that, I'm assuming RL got in the way for now

Thanks for reading it - I really had a good time writing it, because there were so many ways I could have gone with it. I spent a lot of time thinking about what it would be like, and really wanted to explore the idea of a kind of "suicide" that a wizard could commit. A lot of people have said it has a hopeful ending, but it's cool to see someone who doesn't think so as much, because I kept thinking that no matter what they did, Remus would always remember and Severus wouldn't. That will always be between them. If I hadn't had a deadline to meet, I think I would have explored that more.

oh it makes me want to cry, the pain Severus felt. But gosh, it's so much better than suicide. Oh angst, angst, angst!
