Paul went back to the doctor today. His leg is no longer as red or hot to the touch, but there's still a red area and his ankle and foot are still very swollen. The doctor is very concerned that after four days of oral antibiotics and two doses of IV antibiotics, it's still this bad (I share this concern ( Read more... )

Sounds exactly like when Chris had it. They kept the little thing stick in his hand I believe it was. Hopefully these IV treatments are the last of it, and it'll be gone soon.
