I am a little boggled. Ok, more than a little.

I was going through the LJ image reaper this evening as i wound down for sleep, and i came across this post(For those of you who are unaware of what the image reaper is - it's a script that pulls the last 250 images posted in LJ, anywhere. A refresh of the page gives you the next newest 250, another ( Read more... )

Google Translator makes that post
"stolen, but how wonderful =)
definitely, beautiful picture"

Interesting. Because when I look at that post? I get my geek keyboard icon, not your handprint one. I suspect a script is involved somewhere that pulls from your userpics, but I'm still testing the theory.

That would make sense, I Google translated that whole page and it looks like the stuff they're saying fits into that. I'm not getting a picture when I look though :(

That is interesting. Very very odd. I don't know how the original poster expected people to see and comment/like the same image if that's the case.

Well, I get my 'Bug Guy' icon (a poor, jumbled version of it), which is pretty goofy, so there must be some script there.

Right, jumbled and corrupted is what i saw too. So very odd. I have no idea what the purpose of a script like that would be.

Yup, I get one of my own icons there. This one specifically. I wonder if it pulls the last icon you used in your journal?

That is the theory that makes the most sense to me so far. Heheh, this is crazy. What the heck is that script supposed to do? The original poster made a comment about the image, how did he expect everyone else to see the same one he was talking about?

The icon that was displayed was of me. I took it at my school last year and editted it in art class. I have a larger size image on my computer if you'd like, but I don't know how those other guys got it.

ok, after re-reading all this crap I realized what happened. It showed something from my own database, so each time someone looks its different. :P

It's really a very odd thing! I am still mildly boggled by it all.
