Salams, sweetie pie :D

One day is too far away :( But there is no such thing as impossible :) When you come I shall prepare for you a smorgasbord that will not allow the plane to bring you back for all the extra kilos you will put on :DDD

What a yummy post!

I don't get it, why are candied yams called that if they aren't made of yam? :/ (Also, I don't get how you can make them and refrain from tasting them hehe.)

Filipinos aren't turkey people, either. I only ever tried turkey once, at a friend's house. It was cold (leftover from their previous night's dinner) and tasted like cardboard. XD

I have no idea *shrugs* I did google up a few recipes, and a few did actually use yams. I find them too starchy for this dish, though; sweet potatoes actually would have been better :P

I kinda like turkey, and I've been fortunate. All the turkey I've tasted, tasted like...turkey :DDD Of course, I prefer chicken and duck to turkey, and the worst is quail *quails at the thought*.

Now I feel like eating fish...

Sounds like an interesting cooking experience! I don't think I've ever cooked a turkey, tbh. ;p
