"richly ignored" doesn't seem to register...though I think I know what you mean. rich history that has been ignored. I think no one has yet drawn it out. The same exists here.

I've been perhaps "droning on" about my hometown of late, somewhat...with photographs. I hope it wasn't me that bored you. Whenever I cross a certain patch of earth it seems a challenge to try and convey just how desolate it was in (my) history, especially when it remains so to this day.

All in a search for redemption...of the psyche anyway...plants will still not grow there, not even weeds.

That same red ant pile. What the hell do they eat? It's like something out of Kobo Abe's, "The Woman In the Dune".

oh, no, homie, it wasn't you that bored me. in fact, i didn't have anyone in mind. just musing.

and you're right about what i meant by "richly ignored," for the most part. i also meant a small comment on how it was ignored (like, with relish) and that it was, y'know, ignored by the rich.

i bring you fertilizer, yes?

and a rake. Thanks.

I knew someone from Mendon, MA...whom was probably from an upper class.
She came out here to climb rocks and run marathons. Ended up working on Yuppy's house painting with me.

Though she talked a lot she never talked about home much, which I felt suspect. I fell in love with her accent. I miss her. She's in here somewhere.
