yeah, a couple years old. put out a chapbook with johnnylexicon, who also takes his name from his half of the book.

i knew that line sounded familiar even before you posted this. we-- i really liked the detective noir series (although i don't think i have it).

and if you haven't seen it yet, you must see brick... for noir's sake.

This book still in print? Bring a couple with you to nats if so. Lord knows I don't have any cash right now, but I'd dig having one.

i'm thinking of redesigning it. i have a few (read: 2-3) copies left of the 3rd printing, but i think we're both so embarassed by the poems in there (and simultaneously pointing to each other's halves as the good ones) the thought of putting in the effort is a little... meh. but if you want one, i'll certainly put one aside.

That'd be great. And then I can read it and crack your heads together while saying, "Both halves are good, motherfuckers!" 8^)

Thanks.

Whee! That was like riding a shopping cart down the steepest hill on Memory Lane.

tell me about it. can you believe there's still people that want that book? & not for novelty or posterity?

This reminds me of my first year at Hampshire.
