Good lord...so painfully sad to read his death scene...to read what he might have been thinking at the time. And I also think that he was mouthing Arthur, Arthur.. in the film. What else would he be saying? I know how difficult this scene in the film is for you (and many of us), so I am overly impressed by your ability to add depth to it in this way.

I love the references to the black crows that you have once again used here. It is a great little detail that I love about your writing. Blood and darkness, always.

Brilliantly written, as always. And I'm certain that Charlie will love this special gift!

He was saying "Arthur," I think. I watched him closely the last time I watched the film and that's the impression I got too. It is horribly hard to watch, but I thought...well, if I flesh it out, maybe it won't be so painful. Yeah, no *laughs* but it was a challenge to do. Gods love you for your long time support and willingness to comment and read. I appreciate it so much *snuggles*

I love birds and will certainly be using them a lot (especially on the new project, which I also worked on yesterday. Hee!) I'm really glad you thought that imagery worked.
