Toma, Ikuta
It’s actually not hard, working with Oh-chan. Toma remembers that shock of blond hair, those ridiculous jackets they had to wear (plus his tattoo sleeves!) from way back when they swaggered across wooden stages as quarrelsome Jets from West Side Story. He had been taken aback by the transformation then, but even though the current Ohno Satoshi is decidedly more placid-looking with his neat black hair and somber suit, he finds himself more taken aback than ever before.
It’s the look in those eyes, he realizes as the camera zooms in on the intense space between their noses. The ruthless look of a killer.
“Cut!” The director claps his hands smugly. “And that’s a wrap, gentlemen! Grab a dinner bento on your way out, sons. You both deserve it. Good job.”
Toma reddens slightly, still not quite used to being the center of attention, but Ohno practically slumps into the fake dumpster that served as their set.
“Finally…” Toma hears him sigh. “I wonder if the captain’s still waiting at the harbor…”
Toma remembers how Jun was complaining about “Leader’s caramel face” and smiles. It’s 10PM. At least they won’t have to worry about the sun anymore.
