Essay Contest - Challenge and SIGN-UP SHEET
First of all, thank you very much to everyone who responded in our poll. I really appreciate it. The response was strong enough that
boom_queen and myself feel we can go ahead with this. For those of you that weren't fond of the idea, I'm always open to suggestions as to how to make this community a fun place, so feel free to drop me a line.
SOLO Challenge
1) Pilots are the greatest ship to ever ship. Support.
Specs: There are no specs! Response can be as long or as short as the author wishes. Serious or comedic responses welcomed and encouraged! Your chance to get super creative.
TEAM Challenge
As you can see, these aren't really "theses", but we thought it would be a good idea to leave them open-ended so you guys can get the brain juices going.
1) Kara and Lee are each other's perfect counterpoint, because....
2) The perfect ending for Kara and Lee would be....
3) Kara and Lee's other relationships, before and during the series, have strengthened/weakened Kara/Lee because...
4) From evidence included in the series, Kara and Lee's relationship prior to the mini-series likely developed in the following way...
Specs: 1000-1500 words. Proper essay-style response with completed intro, thesis, body, and concluding remarks.
PRIZES
First and second place in each category will receive mod gifts of some kind. Details TBD.
