This is a warning that I'm going to be taking down the PSA in the next day or two, as I'm just catching up with the new Australian pornography laws and all the implications. I want to be safe while I get my head around the mess and work out what the best thing to do would be

Oh my god, I don't see how I will cope without PSA. I'll have to use ff.net with it's predeominat het and worse still badly written and un-betaed fic. This is truly scary and shocking. Whatever happens, please keep the site up in some way. Adults should have access to whatever they want online so long as it doesn't hurt anyone. Most slash readers are probaly not adults, but that's what the password was put in place for, right? And whoever goes to PSA and reads the fic is actively seeking it out. You give fair warning. You're hardly out to pervert children's morals!

Just a quick note to say that you might be better off with Adullfanfiction.net opn http://adultfan.nexcess.net/aff/ this might be more your cup of tea though not as good as the wonderful psa but we all have to cope in times of crisis. Everyone pull together and we shall be stronger

Well, I think the idea of registering it as belonging to a non-Australian is a good start for covering your ass-etts, so to speak. I agree with others here, in that I truly hope the PSA will indeed come back up. The best of the best is there and I would truly be saddened to see such a fine archive disappear due to some really obnoxious laws.

i hope everything isnt shut down for too long, because yours was the only reputable site out there (not to mention awesomely cool) and ill just have to go without until you get things running again!!!! life without slash is so overrated.

Um- hello! *waves* I'm Hannah.
I came here to find out a bit more about how long PSA will be down and stuff, I've never come to your journal before. First, I want to tell you how much I LOVE PSA, and how sad I am that it will be down. But I understand, being a fellow Aussie.
I actually used to live in Canberra. For four years. *sigh* I miss it, a lot. It's very nice. Which part do you live in? I used to live in MacGregor, in Belconnen and go to school near the city, in Latham...I think it was. Brindabella it was called, near Latham primary.
I am rambling!
So, yes, I have friended you, not only because you are in charge of PSA, but also because you live in Canberra, and to me that is excellence:-). Can you tell I really miss the place? ;-)
About PSA, I would think handing over the legal reins to an American would probably be your best option.
Looking forward to PSA coming back up again!
