If I ever get paid again, I am going to happily part with the two hundred bucks per ticket to see Shen Yun perform when they come through here. (For dance, I am a total snob--I can't bear to sit in the cheap seats, where my crap vision is a liability. For music concerts, I don't care where I sit, as long as the acoustics are good ( Read more... )

They come to Boston every year and I look at their posters longingly...but not at $70 for the cheapest seats. Maybe next year!

I saw them once (from a cheap seat as I don't know nearly enough about dance to appreciate a good one *g*). It was the most eclectic show I have ever seen, but some of the dance bits were so very pretty.

My boss is taking her elderly father to see them in April. She is so excited.

My mother's senior-center group went last year, and my kid's preschool class got to see an abbreviated performance by special arrangement (back when she was in preschool). For myself, I guess I'll keep waiting. :)

I've known of their tours because they always stop somewhere in Connecticut, and their flyers are up all over town here because of the casinos and their Asian workers. But not until your link to their website just now did I realize they've been harassed by the Chinese government (or so they claim, on this page)
