Winter in two days

As rachelmanija's folks are away, we came up here to take care of eight cats (seven spotted) and to work. What a delight to find it snowing two days ago

So beautiful! I love the top two photos the best. The scenes look so peaceful as the world is waking. Is it as quiet as it looks up there?

Oh, yes, utterly quiet. (Except for the occasional thunder of cat feet.)

We go back home tomorrow, and I'm sure back to eighty degrees! On Sunday I'm meeting my mom and sister downtown to attend a concert, and I'm hoping it won't be too hot.
