That is a much nicer cover than the library editions I read recently. Those all had an eerie looking throne in the centre, occasionally green eldritch lightning and a girl in a white dress.

I enjoyed them - not as good as, say, Bujold (who is, perhaps unfortunately, my general standard as to whether something is written well) - and they haven't gone in my mental read-again list, but they were fun and of the can't put down while reading category. Nice, easy, uncomplicated fantasy.

I'm glad I've read them; they certainly weren't a waste of time.

That is a great cover - reminds me of the hardcover Crown Duel, which is wonderful. Love the titles too.
