I was worrying about you--and your SoCal neighbors--when I was hearing the news yesterday. Glad you're surviving.

And better than surviving, glad you're seeing all the threads come together! For the book after King's Shield? **Wonderful** What a feeling that must be!

Thanks! My daughter had to evacuate Monday, but she went back yesterday as her college didn't cancel classes despite the absolutely lethal smoke (all the high schools and below cancelled) so she's up there toughing it out.
