That's just lovely!

They shall not long possess the sky, they devour the stars only in apparition...

The great stars and the little ones shall shine out again, they endure,
The vast immortal suns and the long-enduring pensive moons shall again shine

I did too--some of these guys one really needs to come at on one's own, and not be dictated to, and far, FAR worse, tested on.

I was tempted to post Daddy this morning, in a fit of ill humor combined with dark humor. But the Whitman is so much nicer. Thanks for reminding me how much I love his work.
