Quotations are amazing. I keep meaning to collect my favorites and even do write down some here or there, but I tend to forget.

I considered keeping a quote book once, but then I realized I didn't always want them shorn of their contexts. And yet some quotes just resonate deeply beyond their contexts. And then I realized part of their magic, at least for me, was encountering them in the wild. Then they come on soft wing beats, and strike with chilling synchronicity. Oooh, i do so like that.
