Y'know, there are times when I think the internet is the most depressing place on earth.

Apart from the blogs of people who's lives apparently just suck/News on what major natural disaster or war-zone tragedy occured today/writing and opinions that make one weep for the future of humanity/reams and reams of porn? It's those rare people who are like, fabulous in every way, who can paint with astonishing realism and write like Sebastian Faulks and have an IQ of eleventybillion and sing and act and are self aware and oh, they're only 21, do you feel mediocre yet? Fucking over-accheivers...

Ahem. Don't mind me, I'm having a bad-mood day.

Nah, overachievers don't really bother me. :p I know from experience that most of them are pretty fucked up underneath.

No sense in being jealous of other people.

Sense doesn't really come into feelings like jealously, I've found. Also, I'm not exactly baggage-free myself, so it'd be nice to have the perks of being OMGWUNDERFUL at something to make up for that, as it were.

I'll probably do a longy, wangsty post that actually explains this at some point. Introspection is not fun, kiddies.

Thank you for such a lovely comment. :D It made me feel less sucky.

Seriously though, there are times when I wonder if having instantaneous access to free publishing and information are a good thing. No one ever thinks the little good things that happen are worth a mention, and I can only handle so many landslides and former-USSR countries in civil war.

you are welcome.

there should be a good-stuff-only journal/community/place/website to counter all the raping-of-the-world-we-live-in stuff we are flooded with everysingleday of our lives.

not-so-equal-but-definitely-opposite-reaction, no?
