Watching SPn and drinking lots of wine.

Over the last few days we've been catching up on the last dozen eps of Supernatural. Am now on the second last ep and my third glass of wine. As much as I love Dean and Sam Winchester, and Castiel, and Charlie and Crowwley, and I do, this show does seem vastly improved by alcohol.

Haha! Show is seriously messed up! And I'm sure it IS better with alcohol. :)

I was actually hoping Sam would succeed in killing Crowley, mostly because why have they waited so long to get rid of him?!!? And the same could be said for Crowley actually getting rid of the Winchesters. Hee, *handwaves* because I know exactly why they haven't gotten rid of each other....;)

Everything with disclaimer because it's ages since I watched it and have crappy memory for details, but I don't think tptb have really put as much detail into analysing Dean and Sam's motivations and character growth as fans and therefore are bound to disappoint. They literally just seem to be recycling the 'brotherly sacrifice save each other at all costs' trope every season now, and everyone else are just redshirts - even Charlie, who I naively thought was untouchable because Felicia Day.

I'm just enjoying it on that level now. I don't want Crowley to die because I like Mark and because I like that he had reformed hell because he was trying to be a better person, HEE! (I had wondered what was going on there) and I liked that he thinks he has some kind of relationship with the Winchesters (esp Dean) which Sam BETRAYED, omg.

To recap, I enjoyed the last ep and pissed off Crowley, and omg Dean betraying Death. Seriously, they are just sacrificing anyone now. Did he even THINK of the consequences of killing DEATH.

I remain very confused about what Dean thought he was doing with Death.

I guess his well thought out, brilliant plan will be revealed next season.
