Sorry I forgot to give you SPN before I left last night!

That's okay, it's not like I don't have other things to watch, and I like to watch SPN a few at a time anyway.

"White Collar" has been awesome so far this season. So good to see it back on form.

That's one of the ongoing ones I haven't finished catching up on yet, watched 405 and 4.06 yesterday, really enjoyed Mozzie's conspiracy plot to find the flag. Love that he has a bigger part nowadays.

Yes, that was a good episode. I had felt that season four was losing pace a bit, but Mozzie always brightens things up. He's a great character.

I will say nothing else about season five, in that case! Other than two episodes in, and you have plenty to look forward to.

I strongly, strongly recommend Ripper St. If I was into Australian puns I'd say that it's a "ripper show". I am totally smitten and my writer's block has unblocked (don't know for how long, though).

I saw your post a while back. But I think we'd already tried the pilot and I liked it enough to keep going but Dragonfly didn't and we have so much to watch already. That is, if it's the one I'm thinking about, where the child prostitute was murdered and she had a twin who was a street urchin?

No, no, that was (I think) "Whitechapel". "Ripper Street" is set in Whitechapel in 1890 or thereabouts - violent, but with interesting science-related moments and complex characters. Please give it a go (I have written a second ficlet which is being betaed). Enjoy all your other shows anyway!

It really wasn't Whitechapel. Whitechapel is one of the shows I've watched over and over, pimping to friends and rewatching to write Yuletide fics.

is there a similar show then to Ripper st? It was definitely a period piece about a young cop dude. okay, it's going to bug me now.

It's getting better. I've only seen three eps, so. I'm warming to it :)
