Okay, now that I have my knee-jerk rage out of the way? How dare anyone assume they can speak for anyone about such a personal, private issue? How in the hell could her sister have known a detail so intimate as that? "Oh, Sis totally doesn't mind if her hubby uses her as a sex toy!" I mean, if it's going to come to that, put it in writing. Kind of like a DNR notice, only different. And tasteless.

It is the height of selfishness, on the husband's part, and the height of ignorance and idiocy on just about everyone else's part. And what's blowing me away is that these so-called Christians don't see any problem with using one's comatose wife as a sex-toy, when -- correct me if I'm wrong -- according to the Bible, sex is meant to be for procreation purposes only, and using it for pleasure is a sin. It's been a while since I've looked at a Bible, but I am almost certain I remember that part.

Not being much of a Christian myself, I can't say for sure, but they sure make it sound that way often, what with the arguments against birth control and such. But, somehow, I do have this feeling that Jesus wouldn't be so down with that. He wasn't normally big of selfishness and abuse, I think?
