How fast did they get it back up? If they actually had it set up right, it should have been just a matter of swapping drives, and having the array rebuild.

Its still fucking down. In a perfect world, yeah.

According to that it'll be back up around 11. I just hope no one has to re-enter any updates they made.

All the other host providers we've gone through have had WAY more problems than this, and safe to assume it won't happen again.

Problem is, it means SIX of my sites are down, one of them we spent three months LOOKING for a host provider for because of all the proprietary software they have on their site, its how we found these guys.

Geeze no wonder, they're running Windows 2003 servers. You might want to find a site that uses BSD or Linux for the server.

Yea...no. Unless there's a bunch more problems there's no fucking way I'm switching.

The server our sites are on is linux.

We've had too many other problems with other host providers. Dzones was top rated until one day they just went down and never came back up, were changing our card for services we didn't have and getting ahold of them was a nightmare.

There guys answer the phone 24-7 and there's no phone tree. They installed proprietary software just for one of our clients and didn't change us extra. there's no way they'd get that kind of service with anyone else, and that client can't run it in-house because their IT dept can't be trusted.

And for 5-20 a month you aren't getting anyone better. That they even put up that page makes this forgivable.
