Sunday: not bad at all. Mike wanted to stay here & get some stuff done, so I took off to Tenino on my own. I called Alton halfway there to see where he was at, and discovered I had loads of time, giving me an opportunity to FINALLY stop at the pet store in Shelton.

They don't do the howl-ins anymore? That blows!

They do the Howl-ins on saturday nights during the summer(I've never been to one, so not sure if there's howling), they don't encourage howling at the end of the tours like they used to.
And it does suck, I think people would feel much closer to them if they had a chance to participate in that.

I agree. I went to a howl-in and it was beautiful and wonderful.

I have wanted to go to Wolfhaven for years but have never been. I should make more of an effort to go there this summer.

Winter is actually a better time to go; they're fluffier and less likely to be mid-siesta from the heat.

Sounds like a great fur-filled weekend. Well, Mike isn't very furry--or maybe he is, I've never seen him naked. *grins*

He's got a wopping 21 chest hairs at last count (I think I have more than that). so, no, not furry, but very pettable.
