I can't even force myself to be guilty for picking mostly from the episode itself. Everything else was more polished and I like Sherlock's more villan-like side (colder expression, hardcore sarcasm) and of course, Mycroft <3
This is exactly how I see it. BC's portrayl of Sherlock in the pilot was much warmer and more human, more adorable, but not as fascinating and intriguing as the episode portrayal. You don't believe that the Sherlock of the pilot could commit murder as Sally Donovan said.
And Mycroft FTW!!!!!!!! I didn't really like Mark Gatiss' acting in Doctor Who, but his Mycroft and interaction with Sherlock is just wonderful.
DRUGS BUST. Single scene which did most to start this infernal addiction.
One or two places above where I was slightly swayed towards compromise by (a) dislike of Sherlock's white shirt with black buttons, and (b) bonus pic of Lestrade in background while Sherlock's stretched out on the sofa.
But in the end I wouldn't be here without Lestrade's brilliant choice of team-bonding exercise.

bonus pic of Lestrade in background while Sherlock's stretched out on the sofa. Hahahahaha one wonders what he was doing with the picture *winks*
The first crime scene, man it's all about the coat. Forget the camera work and the text on screen (though I do love both a lot) I just want him to keep the sex coat on at all times. *sigh*
Overall, I favor the episode. I think they really improved things the second time around -- which isn't to say the pilot was bad, rather that the ep was all the more awesome. ;)

a) Come up with something that is at least equally sexy or
b) Make BC wear the coat even in summer. That would be... interesting. ;)
