Favorite episode is probably "Showdown". Or "Arrevaderci, Fiero".
Aww, "Arrivederci, Fiero" is pretty great. Though I think, so far, I stand by "Slap Bet." (Oh, man. Am I going to have to watch the rest of this show? I kind of miss it. After The Wire and Buffy, though, so...shall we call it 2012?)
Sex and the City. No, really, I'm being serious.
No, totally, though.
Oh, TV. I love you.
(Actually, in my class yesterday, both the professor and a student--both of whom I suspect haven't actually watched any TV since, like, Falcon Crest or something--made snotty remarks about TV, and I was like, really? Are you guys still in 1996?)
Oh, "Slap Bet" is awesome, as is its follow-up episode, "Sandcastles in the Sand." I love so many episodes of HIMYM, but the two I put in the meme really stand out for me. Also, I forget the episode title, but the one where Robin and Barney play laser tag is the episode that made me love the show. (Also because of "I want to know you. I want to like, KNOW YOUR SOUL" and the Marshall and Lily getting stuck in the bathroom. OH HIMYM.)
I HATE it when people make snotty remarks about TV. I can about shows I really don't like, but it's never like...spiteful, you know? Because even when a show isn't great, I understand how/why people enjoy it. You know who's too cool to watch current TV? Douchebags. Also, why would you teach a class on TV writing, or take a class on TV writing, and not currently watch TV?
