* The more I think about it, the sadder I get about Gilmore. I was kind of meloncholy all day today. Not depressed or anything; the finale didn't ruin my life outlook or make me suicidal, but I found myself replaying the Luke/Lorelai scene over and over in my head today. It all comes back to "But I LOVE you, Luke! I LOVE you!" It's been on repeat

Congrats on your last day at Job #2. And best wishes on your upcoming job interviews! I hope it all works out the way you want.
Oh, and I may have to check out this Pete Yorn. I'm always looking for new music recommendations. Do you listen to the Dresden Dolls at all? They are my most recent discovery, and my new favorite group. I cannot stop listening.

Pete Yorn is amazing. You will probably recognize some of the song--I did. I suggest starting with Musicforthemorningafter. SO GOOD!
And yes, I LOVE the Dresdan Dolls! I got their album about a year ago. Wow--you are the first person I've talked to who actually knows who they are. Most people have never heard of them. Dude, Girl Anachronism? Coin Operated Boy? Totally awesome.

Coin Operated Boy? Girl Anachronism? Pure genius. Pure. Genius. I am in love. But wait...do you know that they have a new cd? It's called "Yes, Virginia..." And I love it a hundred times more than I love their self-titled album, which is saying something. So if you don't have, go out and get it now. I love pretty much every single song on there, but Delilah has to be my favorite. It simply blows me away.

No, totally. I felt weirdly emotional and kind of high-strung yesterday, and then I listened to Sam Phillips's "Taking Pictures" and "How to Dream" a million times, which didn't help.

Anytime, m'dear.
I had my last day at Job #2 today! Wooohoooo!
Yay! You're free! Freeeeeee! Good luck with your interviews on Friday.

Oh my god. Are you sure you're not me? I totally did the same thing yesterday! Oh my god, Taking Pictures breaks my heart. Sam Phillips has such a gut-wrenching voice. It's beautiful, but so sad, you know? Also, I was ticked to discover "How to Dream" is one of the lala themes on the show. I don't know why, it just really amused me.
