This evening, Roommate and I celebrated her birthday by ordering Chinese take out, making Cosmopolitans and having a Sex and the City marathon. Turns out, she hasn't seen a bunch of episodes. Like, maybe the majority of episodes. I'm thinking she's seen a lot of season 6, and a handful of others. So I am giving her an eduction. We ran out of time,

IT IS SO GOOD! But, I sort of know how you feel, because lots of people are all about X-files, and I have never seen that. Plus, I think everyone on my flist currently watches Bones, and I do not, and there has been lots of Bones talk lately.

Really though, you should watch. It's freaking brilliant. The first season and a half is kind of cartoonish, but after that, it becomes a real show and is amazing.

Oh, man. I want to go back and watch that prom episode now. I haven't seen that in forever. And I'm sure there are like another million scenes that make me sniffly, but I can't really think of any, except the end of "i heart ny" but you did a whole blog on that!

Also, I'm annoyed because I ordered my sister the first part of season six for her birthday (which was Tuesday) and she still hasn't gotten it yet. Grrr.

IT IS SO GOOD! I think I had only seen it once, and then I saw it last week and was blown away. I remembered that David Duchovny came on as her old high school boyfriend, but that was all I remembered about it. The entire episode is brilliant - it's one of their most successful, I think, of the ones that have an overarching theme that plays throughout the episode. (Which, I know sounds like every episode, but it's not, really. You'll see when you watch.)

That sucks about Season 6 Part I. Did you order from Amazon? I've had good luck with fast turn around with them lately.

I don't like cosmos, but I like flavored vodka and soda. That's the girliest I get, drink-wise. Except last night, someone bought me a Jolly Rancher shot, which I didn't know was a real thing. It tasted... like a Jolly Rancher. I could see myself having a problem with those.

Huh. Be careful with those sweet drinks; they'll make you sick. I feel like a jolly rancher shot is something that could be good every once in awhile but not constantly, you know? Too sweet.
