I don't understand why people think I'm friendly.

I don't...try. I don't go out of my way to talk to people. I don't initiate conversation while I'm waiting for them to ring up my stuff. I appreciate the sentiment, but really, I didn't go to Target at 4:30 to hang out, so can we just cut the chatter and hurry it up?

But...they do.

Every time I'm in line, they start talking to me. It doesn't matter

You must exude friendly vibes or something. Maybe your aura is um...purple. Purple's the good colour right? The friendly, happy one? Maybe.

People do it to me too, although not as much! And it gets annoying sometimes! JUST GIVE ME MY STUFF AND LET ME GO.

OMG. People do that too. They randomly come up to me on the street, in train stations and whatnot and start up conversations, ask for directions (bypassing five other people to do so), or strike up conversations in stores. One of my co-workers says I just have a friendly face. Er, what? LOL. I've got to work on my mean face.

See, it's funny though, because I think when I'm not smiling that I have a bitch face. And I don't just randomly smile in public! These people are crazy.
