Nice! I saw that email posted on some other people's LJs recently, skimmed it, discarded it as sounding totally bogus, and didn't look into it any further. Your post, though, is far more interesting than just debunking something I knew was fake.

P.S. Acronyms are pronounceable abbreviations. ASAP acts as an acronym when you say it as "aysap" but just an abbreviation when you say "ay ess ay pee". n.g. is not an acronym :)
