On the bus

Just had to write this down. To spread the Christmas spirit. Of sorts…

Yesterday morning, as I was on my way to work, two girls were sitting right behind me, and I heard them talking. Younger one of them can't be much more than 8 years old and the older is about 11. I don't remember every little detail, but the conversation went something like this ( Read more... )

Yes - so agree - we were brought up on the "one pressie" idea ...a nd still stick to it. Althought this year I have asked for 1 of 2 different DVDs ... so I won't know which one I'll get!

Glad you didn't explode on the bus - especially on a Monday morning, you may have been locked up!!

PS - You can see from my icon my real christmas wish!

Hee! I'm glad, too. Being locked up isn't on top of my list of best ways to start a new week. :D

James. Why am I not surprised? ;)

Either she's a very spoiled girl already and really believes that she will get many things on her list , or she has just a wild imagination and loves to talk about all her dreams are made of .
Anyway she's one chatty child!

I truly hope she's not spoiled and was just dreaming, but I had a very strong feeling she took for granted that she'll get most of the things on her list. ::shudders::

Anyway she's one chatty child!

That she is, to say the least... :D

If she grows up like this (which I sure hope not), I bet she'll have one very unhappy bank manager… Or a very rich and patient husband… ;)

Who he frilly heck brings a child up to expect this stuff??

Household rule#1

One main pressie per child

Some stocking fillers per child

A new item of clothing per child

Adults get one pressie :)

That's a mystery to me, too. Very scary...
And about your household rule #1... Couldn't agree with you more!
