Lookie what I made - my first recolour ever! (the piano) Can you tell I'm excited?
I know it's far from perfect but I made it, I, the little noob eternally jealous of other amazing simmers' skills!

As for tips on recolouring objects, I'd just say that you should ALWAYS remember to save the texture files. I forgot to do that so many times and it is incredibly frustrating!
